Lighthouse Rally Late to Nip Cattlemen
The MSL Long Island Lighthouse overcame a pretty good performance by MSL Ft. Worth first baseman Andrés Calderón, beating the Cattlemen, 4-3, at MSL Long Island Ballpark. Calderón was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times. This win makes it 5 in a row for MSL Long Island.

Juan García drew 1 walk for MSL Long Island. The 18-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring walk off Tomiichi Matsuo. It was his 4th walk of the season.

García told reporters after the game: "This one was touch and go, but we were able to put it in the win column."
