Cattlemen Trip Lighthouse, 6-4, in Extra Innings
|
The timely hitting of Mario Ramos helped the MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen take down the MSL Long Island Lighthouse, 6-4, in 10 innings. Ramos went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Cattlemen. MSL Ft. Worth, now 16-16, holds down 5th place in the SL MSL.
The game was all tied up in the top of the tenth, until Ramos delivered big-time for MSL Ft. Worth, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off John Reed. The game-changing hit put the Cattlemen on top, 5-4.
"Always feels extra good winning this kind of game," said Ramos.
