Kingfishers Deal Blue Demons 2-1 Loss
In a low-scoring affair between the MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers and the MSL Mexico City Blue Demons, pitcher Xaavier Clemons was the difference between victory and defeat. The MSL Pittsburgh left-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 2-1 Kingfishers win. With the win, MSL Pittsburgh upped its record to 21-13.

Stilwell Gardner, who is tied for 6th in the SMSL with a .353 batting average, had a direct impact on the outcome. Gardner contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the third inning to put MSL Pittsburgh up, 2-0.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Gardner.
