Kingfishers Post 6-4 Win

A 3-RBI performance from designated hitter Alfonso Salinas, who is tied for 6th in the SMSL in runs scored with 28, led the MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers to a win over the MSL Mexico City Blue Demons, 6-4. At 22-14, the Kingfishers have a slim two-game lead in the SL MSL.
Dieter Sinke had a productive at-bat in the top of the second inning. With the bases loaded, the MSL Pittsburgh third baseman hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 1-0, Kingfishers, and led to the win.
"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said MSL Pittsburgh manager Ricky Miller.
