Reeves Helps MSL Las Vegas Outscore MSL Long Island
In a high-scoring contest between MSL Las Vegas and MSL Long Island, center fielder Bob Reeves was a difference-maker. Reeves, who is tied for 10th in the SMSL in hits with 49, distinguished himself in the 11-10 MSL Las Vegas win. He was 4 for 4 with 4 singles and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The win went to Tsuginori Nakayama in relief, making him now 2-0. Min-jae Im took the loss for MSL Long Island. Chris Bailey collected his 7th save.

In the bottom of the sixth, MSL Las Vegas left fielder Fernando Fernández put his team on top. With one out and the bases loaded, he hit his 5th home run of the year. MSL Long Island pitcher Min-jae Im served it up. Just like that, the Flamingos were ahead, 11-8.

"We got the victory," said Reeves. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."

With the win, MSL Las Vegas raised its record to 22-17.
