White Walkers Post 4-3 Win
|
The MSL Buffalo White Walkers faced a tough opponent in MSL Memphis pitcher Pedro Pineda, but did just enough to pull out the victory at MSL Memphis Ballpark by a final score of 4-3. Pineda went 5.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. The White Walkers now have a record of 14-27.
MSL Buffalo used the timely hitting of Stephen Bence to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the White Walkers ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said MSL Memphis skipper Melvin McCullough.
