The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Echo Park pinch hitter Eichiro Kaneko, facing Bill Ramírez, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Lakers the 6-5 win.
"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Echo Park manager Jordan Calhoun.
