Pittsburgh used a well-timed hit by Odell Papageorgiou to capture the win. The shortstop socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Kingfishers ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"I thought we played a nice game," Papageorgiou told the Pittsburgh Daily News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
