Meeks Claims PL Batter of the Month Award Saturday, July 1st , 2062 Bill Meeks is on a tear! After posting a .390 average in June, the Boston third baseman took home the United States Premier League Batter of the Month award handed out earlier today. He cracked 30 hits with 5 home runs and 25 RBIs and scored 14 runs. The 27-year-old also collected 11 free passes and posted a .467 on-base percentage. This season, Meeks is batting .316 with 50 hits and 6 home runs. He has scored 26 times and has 35 RBI. |
