Rookie Pitcher Reels in PL Award Saturday, July 1st , 2062 For the last month Kip Hill has done his best to prove he can be a big game pitcher for the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids. He was the best newcomer and picked up the United States Premier League Rookie of the Month trophy. In June Hill rang up a fine 3-1 record in 5 starts as he dominated league batters with an excellent 2.76 ERA. He worked 32.2 innings, collecting 25 strikeouts while walking 9. For the season, Hill has logged 5 wins and 3 losses and struck out 40 batters in 59 innings while compiling a 3.51 ERA. |
