June's Premier Rookie Named by PL Sunday, July 1st , 2063 Youngster Andy Jackson emerged as the latest United States Premier League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from New Orleans deserved the honor, batting .411 with 4 home runs and 13 RBI. Is the month of June a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Jackson enjoy the limelight. This season, Jackson is batting .350 with 49 hits, 5 home runs, 18 RBIs, 27 walks, .462 OBP and has scored 32 runs.
