Alston: Big Hit in the USSL Single A Monday, July 17th , 2062 The USSL Single A has named its Top Player of the Week. The honor went to Steven Alston, center fielder of the Alaskan Bush Pilots. In an extraordinary hitting display, he belted out hits at a .476 pace to win the award. Alston went 10-for-21 for the week, totaled 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 6 times. So far this season, Alston has put up a .219 batting average with 46 hits, 9 home runs and 24 RBIs. |
