Northern Lions BC Rivera Lost for Year Sunday, June 17th , 2063 Juan Rivera has to call it a season. The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC catcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Dayton Dirty Reds and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Rivera was injured while running the bases. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn back muscle and stated that he would not be able to play for 4-5 months. For the year, Rivera has hit at a .206 clip with 8 RBIs, 2 home runs and 9 runs scored. |
