3AA Player of the Week Awarded Monday, July 3rd , 2062 A hot-hitting week got Dolf Asmus the M3L Double A Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The Virginia Beach left fielder slammed them for a .556 average, 10 hits in 18 at-bats, 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and scored 3 runs. In the postgame press conference, Asmus shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that." This season, Asmus is swinging the bat at a .265 pace. He has hit 12 home runs and scored 32 times, while driving in 24. His on-base percentage is .357 and he has played in 48 games. |
