Pat Craig Sidelined for Season
Friday, June 15th , 2063
The doctors have spoken and Pat Craig of the Vancouver Vipers didn't like what he heard. The 27-year-old center fielder is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Craig sustained his season-ending injury during the Marquette Miners game yesterday at Vipers Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while running the bases. Today the Vancouver medical staff reported Craig had a broken bone in the elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 5 months.

For the year, Craig has hit .265 with 3 home runs, 12 RBIs and scored 16 runs.
