Johnston, Pineda Receive 5-Game Suspensions Monday, June 25th , 2063 The two main figures in yesterday's brawl at MSL Las Vegas Ballpark have been suspended for 5 games each. That action was taken today by the league commissioner's office and will take effect immediately. The suspended players are Dale Johnston of the MSL Las Vegas Flamingos and Pedro Pineda of the MSL Memphis Mockingbirds. This season, Johnston has hit at a .222 clip and produced 9 runs batted in, 2 home runs and 13 runs. Thus far this season, Pineda has posted a 2-1 record, started 8 games, struck out 32 batters in 42 innings and compiled a 5.57 ERA. |
