SMSL Names Best Player Monday, July 2nd , 2063 The top batter in the USSL Mexican Summer League last week was Matt Boswell, who batted .667 and towered above everybody with a 2-game hitting barrage. During the week Boswell banged out a .667 batting average (6-for-9), 2 home runs, 4 runs batted in and scored 3 runs. Today the MSL St. Louis left fielder received the SMSL Player of the Week Award. This season, Boswell is swinging the bat at a .265 pace. He has hit 6 home runs and scored 21 times, while driving in 10. His on-base percentage is .380 and he has played in 22 games. |
