Keith Hays had a strong outing for the Pawnee ParksNRec against the Port Royal Disaster at Whips Ballpark. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-1 win. The win puts Pawnee at 2-0.

Pawnee got a critical at-bat from Claudio Martínez. The designated hitter stroked a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was huge.

"The fans went nuts at the end," Martínez said.
