Dodos Lose, 11-6, in 10
|
The Salt Lake City Buzz picked up a win at Dodos Ballpark, dropping the Hialeah Dodos, 11-6. Ben Griffin, who leads the 3AAA in innings pitched with 63.0, was the difference-maker. Salt Lake City now sports a record of 21-19.
Rubén López drove in one run for Salt Lake City. The 23-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the tenth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 6-6 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Carl van Bekenes. It was his 20th RBI of the season.
"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Todd Hines.
