Port Royal right-hander Rush Moore helped his team edge Hamilton by the score of 3-2. Moore kept the opposing lineup in check. Curley Martha earned the save for Port Royal, his 8th. Port Royal's record now stands at 22-23, placing them 7th in the Menard's AAA.
Eric Anderson, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2053 draft, had a direct impact on the outcome. Anderson contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put Port Royal up, 3-2.
"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Port Royal manager Miguel Aguilar said.
