Norfolk right-hander Martín Orozco helped his team edge Hamilton by the score of 3-2. Orozco kept the opposing lineup in check. Reliever Lorenzo García picked up the win. His record improves to 2-0. Bailey Marshall took the loss. Norfolk goes to 35-12. The win puts them 8 games up in their division.
The game was at a stalemate until first baseman Dustin Wallace came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Hamilton pitcher Bailey Marshall, he hit a 1-1 curveball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Norfolk on top, 3-2.
