Ft. Myers starter Logan Bowen pitched well against the Milton Dogfish Head at Milton Corner Tavern. The right-hander led his team to a win, 8-2. In 8 innings, Bowen surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 4. He allowed 2 runs. The Marlins saw their win-loss record go to 24-24. At the same time, the Dogfish Head fell to 33-15.

Ft. Myers used the timely hitting of Tracy Copeland to capture the win. The catcher socked a grand slam home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Marlins ahead, 6-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
