Fans watched the Norfolk Pajaritos and the Sunset District Fog fight to the finish.
Sumiteru Uemura, who is tied for 6th in the 3AAA in innings pitched with 65.1, was locked in. The right-hander led the Norfolk Pajaritos to a 3-2 win against the Sunset District Fog at Fog Park. Louis Bainbridge finished the game for Norfolk and earned his 16th save.
Carlomaria Destefani, who is tied for 4th in the 3AAA in triples with 2, had a direct impact on the outcome. Destefani contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Norfolk up, 3-0.
"I felt good up there," said Destefani. "I saw the ball well."
Norfolk has run its win streak to 4 in a row.
