Redwoods Fall to Disaster Late
|
In a low-scoring contest between the Port Royal Disaster and the Hudson Bay Redwoods, Javier Camacho was the X factor. The Port Royal right-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. The Disaster, at 22-28, inhabit 10th place in the Menard's AAA.
Juan Pacheco, who is tied for 9th in the 3AAA with a .547 slugging percentage, chipped in a run-scoring single for Port Royal in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Port Royal manager Miguel Aguilar. "It's usually not just one thing."
