Thanks in large part to right fielder Pat Simpson, the Sunset District Fog beat the Port Royal Disaster, 7-3. Simpson hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Nelson Otero, the winner, goes to 4-1. He allowed 2 runs on 3 hits, with 3 walks and 5 strikeouts over 6 innings. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Fog.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Chris Rodríguez? The Sunset District first baseman had a bases-clearing double in the top of the third inning to put the Fog on top, 3-0. For the game, Rodríguez had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
