|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Port Royal Disaster and the Plymouth Rocks, 25-year old right-handed pitcher Alvin Buchanan was the difference-maker. The Port Royal right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. Bryan Hall claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record stands at 3-1. The Disaster saw their record improve to 26-28.
Kane Tucker aided the Port Royal cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the pinch hitter was 1 for 1.
"Every loss hurts," said Plymouth manager Gerald Clark. "But this was a tough one."
