Coyote Wildlife Refuge was the site for M3L Triple A action featuring the Hamilton Thunderbirds and Florida Men.

The Florida Men topped the Hamilton Thunderbirds, 6-2, with designated hitter José Colón playing a big role. Colón was 2 for 3 with 2 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times for the Men in the win. Florida starter Joe Sheffield was credited with the win after throwing 95 pitches over 5 innings. His record now stands at 5-7.

Francisco Hernández helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring single to give Florida a 1-0 lead.

"I thought we played a nice game," Hernández told the Florida Daily. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
