Rocks Knock Off Dogfish Head, 6-4

The Plymouth Rocks locked up a win at Plymouth Quarry, knocking off the Milton Dogfish Head, 6-4. On the mound for Plymouth was right-hander Ron Harris. He played a major role in the triumph. Harris picked up the win for Plymouth, going 7.2 innings. He gave up 4 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 4-5. Robert Poynter picked up his 10th save of the season.
Emílio Núñes had a big 2-run double for the Rocks in the bottom of the second inning. With Plymouth leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a sinker from Junior Smith, who is tied for 5th in the 3AAA in strikeouts with 67, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rocks ahead, 3-0.
"It's so much easier when you throw good pitches," said Harris.
The loss makes Milton 40-19.
