The Salt Lake City Buzz withstood a fine game by Sunset District first baseman Chris Rodríguez at Spirits Stadium, to upend the Fog, 7-3. Rodríguez went 3 for 3 with 3 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI. Manny Guerra got the save, the 3rd for him this season. The 7th-place Buzz are now 30-29, the Fog 33-26.

Chipping in for Salt Lake City was first baseman Melchor Palangan. He stroked a run-scoring single in the bottom of the third. For the game, Palangan was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk.
