Redwood Field was the site for M3L Triple A action featuring the Port Huron Blitzkrieg and Hudson Bay Redwoods.
The Hudson Bay Redwoods handed the Port Huron Blitzkrieg a sound defeat, 11-2, at Redwood Field. Fiers Samorukov was a main contributor to the win. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for Hudson Bay. Mauro Ramos earned the win for Hudson Bay. He lasted 7.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits, while striking out 4. With the win, he raised his record to 5-2.
Francisco Fermin had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the second for Hudson Bay. With the bases loaded and the Redwoods leading 1-0, he grounded out, driving in 1 run.
