Buzz Pull Off Thrilling 4-3 Win in Extras

Spirits Stadium played host to some dramatic action.
The Salt Lake City Buzz picked up a win at Spirits Stadium, dropping the Hamilton Thunderbirds, 4-3, in 10 innings. Dan Cortés, who is tied for 8th in the 3AAA with a 8.1 K/9 rate, was the difference-maker. The Buzz improved their record to 33-30 by beating Hamilton.
The Buzz relied on pinch hitter Donovan Goode for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.
"Exhilarating win," said Goode.
