Dodos Drop Hot Chickens, 5-1
|
The Hialeah Dodos picked up a win at Hot Chickens Park, knocking off the Nashville Hot Chickens, 5-1. Starting pitcher Weak Armstrong was a big reason why. The Hialeah winning streak has reached 3 games.
Hialeah used a well-timed hit by John Hall to capture the win. The shortstop socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Dodos ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
Armstrong called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
