Juan Pacheco left his imprint on the 7-5 Port Royal win against the Salt Lake City Buzz. Pacheco, who is tied for 8th in the 3AAA with a .419 on-base percentage, went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The 9th-place Disaster improved to 30-35.

The game was all tied up in the bottom of the eighth, until Pacheco delivered big-time for Port Royal, stroking a dramatic 2-run single off Manny Guerra. The game-changing hit put the Disaster on top, 7-5.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Pacheco.
