The Salt Lake City Buzz defeated the Hudson Bay Redwoods, 7-4, at Spirits Stadium. Salt Lake City right fielder Quentin Zacagnini had a superb performance. He was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2. Manuel Peña picked up the save for Salt Lake City, his 8th of the year. The 5th-place Buzz are 37-32.

Ying-hua Hung came through for Salt Lake City with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the first. The catcher went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 4 RBI.

"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Salt Lake City manager Todd Hines.
