Rainbeaus Squeeze Out Win in Pitching Duel
The Kansas Rainbeaus scored a tight, 1-0 win versus the Bakersfield Nobles at Jerome Grounds. Kansas pitcher Michael Carlson held his own in the contest. Kenny Flint locked down his 5th save. Bakersfield falls to 10-10.

Kansas used the timely hitting of Nathan Dooley to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Rainbeaus on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Our pitching was the difference tonight," Carlson said.
