Dogfish Head Come Back Late, Nip Thunderbirds

The Milton Dogfish Head picked up a win at Coyote Wildlife Refuge, topping the Hamilton Thunderbirds, 5-4. On the mound for Milton was right-hander Mike Nichols. He played a principal role in the triumph. The first-place Dogfish Head have won 5 in a row.
Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Jonathan Boden? The 37-year old designated hitter Boden stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put Milton up, 5-4. For the game, he was 3 for 5, including 1 double and 2 singles.
"Mike was in attack mode the whole game," said Milton manager Brian Burt.
