The Baton Rouge Brass took on the Jersey City Tritons at Brass Field.

Baton Rouge starter Jessie Wolfe ran into little resistance from Jersey City hitters, as his team cruised to victory, 9-2. The Brass raised their record to 17-16.

The Brass got an important contribution from catcher Andrés Guevara, who in the bottom of the seventh hit a 1-1 splitter to center for a grand slam home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Brass ahead, 9-1.

"Jessie knows how to get ahead of hitters, stay ahead of hitters, and put people out," said Baton Rouge manager Luis Ruíz.
