The Sacramento Redlegs had to overcome a big game from Ellenburg right fielder Willie Griffin to leave Dog Park in Ellenburg with a victory. And they did, winning, 10-7, in 10 innings. Griffin went 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Miguel Ortíz was called on to finish, recording his 3rd save. The win puts the Redlegs at 23-15, while the Fighting Dachshunds drop to 18-20.

This game was not decided until late. With no one out in the top of the tenth, Ángelo Carrasco hit a sacrifice fly. The Redlegs took the lead, 8-7.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Redlegs manager Kyle Lucas. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
