|
The Hamilton Thunderbirds dealt the Pawnee ParksNRec a 6-5 loss at Coyote Wildlife Refuge. Howard Brown was the star on offense. He went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Hamilton is in 6th place in the Menard's AAA with a record of 48-45.
Had Brown not come through in the bottom of the eighth, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Brown hit a run-scoring single. The Thunderbirds took the lead, 6-5, and never looked back.
"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Brown.
