The Hudson Bay Redwoods topped the Nashville Hot Chickens by a score of 6-5. Leading the way was first baseman Peyton Cummings. Cummings was 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI for the Redwoods. Hudson Bay pitcher David García got the win, upping his record to 7-5. Millard Washington got the loss. The Hudson Bay win streak is now 3 games.

Cummings had a game-changing double in the bottom of the eighth. On a 0-1 fastball from Millard Washington, he banged a 2-run double to left, giving the Redwoods a 6-5 lead. It was the 7th double of the year for Cummings.
