Montreal center fielder Sonny O'Mulrooney contributed significantly to his team's 9-7 win over the Jersey City Tritons. O'Mulrooney, who is rated as the 42nd best prospect by BNN, went 4 for 4 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Machine. Marc Maxwell, the winner, is now 3-3. He struck out 5 and walked 4 over 5.2 innings, while allowing 7 runs on 7 hits. Montreal has rattled off 4 straight wins.

With Montreal leading 2-1 in the bottom of the third, O'Mulrooney hit a fastball from José Ferreira for a run-scoring triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Machine ahead, 3-1.
