Baton Rouge registered a win at The Zoo in Syracuse by beating the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys, 5-2. Pitcher Warren Mora was one reason why the Brass triumphed. The victory gives the Brass a record of 24-23.

Baton Rouge used the timely hitting of Andrés Guevara to capture the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Brass on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but he made it count.

"Warren is one tough hombre," said Baton Rouge manager Luis Ruíz.
