Baton Rouge Tops Ellenburg, 4-1

The Baton Rouge Brass went home winners at Dog Park in Ellenburg, thanks in large part to starter Yoshimasa Sato. Sato stifled the Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds, enabling Baton Rouge to grab the 4-1 win. The 7th-place Brass have a record of 29-30.
A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the top of the sixth inning. That's when designated hitter Domingo Gómez, who leads the PAAA in home runs with 15, hit a double. The Brass went on to win.
"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Gómez, "one at-bat at a time."
