Bakersfield Nobles starter Sanya Matlah pitched his team past the Baton Rouge Brass, 3-2. Ed Dodman picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 5-2. Woody Lee suffered the loss. Bakersfield is 6th in the Premier AAA with a record of 36-34.
Siu-chung Chin had a direct impact on the outcome. Chin contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the tenth inning to put Bakersfield up, 3-2.
