On Road, Kansas Drops Pennsauken, 3-2
|
In a low-scoring affair between the Kansas Rainbeaus and the Pennsauken Flyers, pitcher George Mosley was the difference between victory and defeat. The Kansas right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-2 Rainbeaus win. Kansas reliever George Mosley was credited with the win. His record goes to 1-1. Adrián Correa took the loss for Pennsauken. Kansas goes to 46-24. The win puts them 8 games up in their division.
Timmy Derp, who is tied for 9th in the PAAA in home runs with 10, had a direct impact on the outcome. Derp contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth inning to put Kansas up, 3-2.
"It all depends on which version of our team shows up," said Derp. "When we put it all together, I think we're a great team."
