Tritons Get Hard-Earned Win
The Jersey City Tritons dealt the Syracuse Starks a 5-4 loss at Stark Stadium. Jing-zhong Ng was the star on offense. He was 3 for 5 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Steffen Benton got the save, the 6th for him this season. The last-place Tritons bumped their record to 27-48.

Had Ng not come through in the top of the eighth, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Ng hit a 2-run single. The Tritons took the lead, 5-4, and never looked back.

Jersey City manager John Sirica called it "a pretty good win."
