Henny Clerq was a vital contributor to the 9-3 Montreal victory over Sacramento. The Machine right fielder went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. The Machine have now reeled off 6 straight wins.

Clerq contributed a big hit, a bases-clearing double, for Montreal in the top of the second. With his team trailing 2-0, Clerq took a fastball from Josh Barnette and stroked the double to center. His 11th double of the season allowed the Machine to leap in front, 3-2.
