Squirrel Monkeys Even Record with 3-1 Victory
|
In a tight contest between the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys and the Jersey City Tritons, Patches Magickbeans was the determining factor. The Syracuse right-hander sparkled in his team's 3-1 win. With the win, Syracuse goes to 48-48, while the Tritons fall to 40-56.
Ekata Sasthi had a critical at-bat with no one out in the top of the sixth for Syracuse. He came through with a solo home run to put Syracuse in front, 2-0.
"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Sasthi told the Syracuse Herald.
