McCullough Helps Bakersfield Cruise to 10-3 Win
Nelson McCullough knocked in 5 runs to help Bakersfield beat Syracuse, 10-3. McCullough produced 1 single, 1 double, and 1 home run. Bakersfield, at 47-52, occupies 7th place in the Premier AAA.

With Bakersfield leading 7-3 in the top of the ninth, McCullough came up to bat against Syracuse pitcher Rizhean Bonrostro. McCullough hit a fastball to center for a 3-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season put the Nobles on top, 10-3.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said McCullough. "You've got to get results."
