Cangrejos Fantasmas Earn 3-2 Win Versus Pilgrims
The Providence Pilgrims got a superb performance from pitcher Orlando Díaz, but the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas still won the game, 3-2. Díaz threw 8.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The triumph makes Chesapeake 10-6, as the team begins another long trek toward the playoffs in 2062.

Nicky Chamings was the walk-off hero for Chesapeake. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Cangrejos Fantasmas pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This game was intense," Chamings said, postgame.
